(Amplus Solar has signed a deal with CISCO Systems India Pvt Ltd to provide 27000 Kwp solar power from the open access solar park in Gadag, Karnataka.)

CISCO Systems India Pvt Ltd operates as a subsidiary of Cisco Systems, Inc. in the networking hardware industry. Amplus’ open access solar park facility in Gadag provides power supply to the manufacturing facility of Cisco in Marahalli, Karnataka. The plant will produce green electricity of 403,582,171 Kwh over the plant’s lifetime. By switching to solar, Cisco plans to curb the Co2 emissions of 388246 tonnes over the plant’s lifetime which is equivalent to planting 10,061,841 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.
