India Expo Centre and Mart

Amplus Solarizes India’s largest and first multipurpose exposition centre: India Expo Centre and Mart.

The Solar plant was built in two phases. Phase I which was 2.5 MWp and Phase II that increased the capacity to 3.44 MWp. Phase I of the solar plant went on stream in September 2017 and Phase II was completed recently in August 2018.

Best practices in safety and security viz. security official, safety training, etc. were put into place so that no disturbance was caused to the ongoing expos.

Dominos

Jubilant FoodWorks Limited (JFL) which holds the master franchise for Domino’s Pizza in India is a part of the Jubilant Bhartia Group. JFL partnered with Amplus to solarize one of their commissaries on the outskirts of Mumbai and then further expanded it for their other facilities. More than 500 kWp has been installed across three of their commissaries in Maharashtra and West Bengal.

Mahindra DLSI

Defence Land Systems India Limited, a joint venture between Mahindra and Mahindra Limited and Bae Systems designs and produces light armoured vehicles, specialist military vehicles and other land weapon systems and vehicles.

Amplus developed a rooftop solar plant of 96 kWp capacity for its facility in Faridabad, Haryana. Amplus has committed to operate and maintain the plant for a minimum of 25 years. The plant will produce green electricity of 3,397,495 kWh over the system’s lifetime. It also results in curbing 3268 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Besides, this solar plant is equivalent to planting 84,704 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.

Rapid Metro

Rapid Metro which is owned by the Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited (IL&FS), one of India’s leading infrastructure development and finance companies has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Amplus for 25 years to provide solar power for Rapid Metro’s depot in Gurugram, Haryana.

The solar power is generated by the solar plant set up on-site depot. The capacity of the plant is 403 kWp which will produce pollution free green electricity of 11,839,856 units of the system’s lifetime.

The solar plant got commissioned in early 2018 and was formally inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Rajiv Banga, MD & CEO, Rapid Metro and Mr. Sanjeev Aggarwal, MD & CEO, Amplus Energy.

Yamaha

Yamaha Motors Company (YMI) is in India since 1985 and has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India. Amplus has developed India’s largest solar rooftop plant at a single manufacturing facility in Greater Noida. Due to the trustworthiness Amplus build through the delivery of this 4 MW plant, Yamaha went ahead with Amplus as its green electricity partner to install 2 MW rooftop plant and a carport plant of 100+ kWp plant within the same facility.

HT Media

HT Media is an Indian mass media company based out of Delhi, India. HT Media has partnered with Amplus to develop rooftop solar plant of 448 kWp and 499.80 kWp capacities for two of its facilities in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Amplus has committed to operate & maintain the rooftop facilities for a minimum of 25 years. The plant is expected to generate green energy equivalent to 13167 Indian’s annual electricity needs over its lifetime. Furthermore, the plant reduces CO2 emissions of 14079 tonnes over the project’s lifetime.

Kansai Nerolac Paints

Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd., operating in the chemicals industry, is one of the largest industrial paint company of India based out of Mumbai. Nerolac has partnered with Amplus to meet a part of its energy requirements by developing a 92 kWp capacity rooftop solar plant for its Hosur facility in Tamil Nadu. The responsibility of operation & maintenance of the plant will be entirely handled by Amplus Energy for a minimum of 25 years.

Amazon

Amazon Seller Services Pvt Ltd. specializes in providing marketing services and promotion activities to Amazon Web Services. Amazon Seller Services has partnered with Amplus to install rooftop solar plants for three of its facilities in Hyderabad and Haryana. Amplus has pledged to operate and maintain all the three plants for a minimum of 25 years.

TVS

TVS Motor Company, a member of the TVS Group, is the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India. Amplus has commissioned two rooftop solar plants for two of TVS facilities in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, which are of 780 kWp and 996 kWp capacities. Besides, Amplus is also supplying solar power of 611 kWp capacity to one more facility in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh. The maintenance of all three plants is entirely handled by Amplus after they got commissioned.

Amway

Amway India Enterprises Pvt Ltd specializes in the use of multilevel marketing to sell health, beauty, and homecare products. Amplus Energy has developed a 770 kWp capacity rooftop solar plant for the Madurai facility of Amway in Tamil Nadu.

Whirlpool

Whirlpool India Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Whirlpool corporation which is a manufacturer and marketer of home appliances. As a first step towards its green environment, Amplus has constructed a 995.40 kWp capacity rooftop solar plant for its Pune facility. With a commitment to operate & maintain the plant for a minimum of 25 years, Amplus helps them to produce green electricity of 31,045,368 kWh capacity. The plant helps to reduce the CO2 emission by 29,866 tonnes. In addition to this, it is equivalent to 774,017 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.

D-Mart

D-Mart, owned and operated by Avenue Supermarts Ltd. (ASL), is a chain of hypermarket and supermarkets in India. D-Mart has partnered with Amplus to install rooftop solar plants on three of its outlets in Solapur and Kohlapur in Maharashtra, which are of 214 kWp, 94.5 kWp, 132.3 kWp capacities. Amplus takes the entire maintenance for all the three plants for a minimum of 25 years.

Metro Cash and Carry

Metro Cash & Carry, is an internationally leading specialist in wholesale and food retails. The company has partnered with Amplus to install solar plant on the rooftops of 8 selected Metro outlets across Punjab, Telangana and West Bengal with a cumulative capacity of 3.2 MWp. Amplus has undertaken the operation and maintenance for a minimum period of 25 years.

Vatika Group

Vatika Group is a leading real estate developer offering residential and commercial spaces. Amplus has commissioned solar rooftop systems across 6 buildings in Gurugram with a total capacity of 500kWp.

Hilton

Hilton Shillim is an award-winning spa retreat located on hilltop of Mumbai-Pune expressway. Amplus has installed a 250 kWp solar rooftop plant which is fully synchronised with their DG sets, though they have got the grid connectivity off late. The plant has been designed to optimize generation using different configurations of modules, their tilt and inverters. This is one of Amplus’ flagship installations.

Raisoni Group

RGI is one of the Central India’s largest and premier groups of educational institutes and one of the first clients for whom Amplus commissioned 500+ kW rooftop solar plant across 9 locations in Maharashtra.

Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered, a British multinational banking and financial services company, operates in consumer, corporate and institutional banking. A Power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed between Amplus and StanC to establish a 100 kWp capacity rooftop solar plant in its Chennai facility in Tamil Nadu. Amplus has committed to operate and maintain the plant over the system’s lifetime, which has got commissioned in February 2012.

ANDRITZ HYDRO

Andritz Hydro Pvt Ltd. is a global supplier of electromechanical systems and services for hydropower plants and one of the leaders in the world market for hydraulic power generation. Amplus has installed a rooftop solar plant which has a capacity of 95.4 kWp for Andritz’s facility in Palwal, Haryana. The plant has got commissioned in August 2017, which was completed in just 7 months. Amplus shall take care of operation & maintenance of the plant over its lifetime.

Asahi India Glass

Asahi India Glass Ltd. is India’s leading integrated glass solutions company and a dominant player both in automotive glass and architectural glass segments. Asahi India Glass has partnered with Amplus to meet a part of its energy requirements by developing a rooftop solar plant of 3671 kWp capacity for its facility in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Amplus will take care of toperation and maintenance of the plant over the system’s lifetime of 25 years.

West Central Railway

Indian Railways is India’s National railways system operated by the Ministry of Railways. West Central Railways is one of the 16 zones of the Indian Railways, which is headquartered in Jabalpur. It has signed a deal with Amplus to establish a rooftop solar plant of 541 kWp capacity for its Bhopal division. The plant will produce green electricity of 15,939,179 kWh over its lifetime. And it can reduce the CO2 emissions by 15,333 tonnes. Furthermore, the rooftop solar plant is equivalent to 397,385 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.
